April & May Snapshots

 Hello Beautiful People!

It's snapshots time again. Due to my wee break from the blogging world, this post is an amalgamation of April and May, two very lovely and two very stressful months!

But onward with the photos!

March Snapshots

 Hello Beautiful People,

Well March was a little bit of a whirlwind!
My dissertation was due in at the end of the month and because I'm a typical student I obviously left it until the minute. I had an interview selection application day thingy for a artist training scheme that somehow I actually managed to get accepted on too! And on top of that a quick dash back home for 21st birthdays and Mother's Day.
All in all a little bit manic.
I don't think I've ever slept so little and eaten so much crap in one month.

January and February Snapshots

Hello Beautiful People,

I know I say this every month, but where is the time going? I swear it was only Christmas a couple of weeks ago and now here we are well into March. My final year project is due in two weeks and jaysus why is time going so fast!?

Because I'm a sensible and well functioning adult, I've made the fantastic decision that instead of doing any of the mountains of work I have piling up around me, I am instead going to sit down and put together an massive snapshots post. I am so good at prioritizing, just pass me all the adulting points and be done with it already.

A Wander Up Scout Scar

Hello Beautiful People,

I had been super organised and planned out weekly uploads all the way up until Easter (I know, I was surprised too) but then life got in the way and what with uni work, hangovers, missed trains and job applications, the days seem to be whizzing past at such a rate of knots I'm left feeling a tad dizzy and bewildered.

I had planned to upload a "Top Ten Concerts" post today but because of all the reasons listed above and the fact that my top ten is still a top twenty and I can't cut it down, I haven't started writing it yet. I know, I'm a failure, minus Brownie points for me.

Instead I've cobbled together this wee set of photos. I'm currently spending reading week back at home with the parents and yesterday it was a lovely sunny Sunday, so we went for a wander up over Scout Scar. The perfect excuse to break in the new walking boots!

December Snapshots

Hello Beautiful People,

Can we all take a moment to appreciate that fact that I have upload a post every week this month! Every flippin' week! The chances of this unusual spell of organisation and commitment lasting much longer are slim to none, so lets enjoy it while it lasts.

By rights I should have posted this at the beginning of January but seeing as I didn't upload my November snapshots until the other week, its not surprising the December ones are a tad late.

Anyway, onward and upwards! Maybe the January ones will be out on time (don't hold your breath though dears, its unlikely).

November Snapshots

Hello Beautiful People!

What's this, two posts in two weeks? Both on a Monday? Its almost like I've got a schedule! Never fear, its definitely not going to last.

I started putting this post together just after Christmas and even then it was going to be ridiculously late. Now we're solidly into Janurary and this post is nearly two months late, but what the heck!

Here are my November snapshots in all their glory.

Cliffs of Moher and The Burren

Hello Beautiful People!

I'm finally starting to sort my way through all the photos I took whilst I was volunteering in Northern Ireland over the summer. While I was over there, myself and the lovely Lisa spent a few days south of the border and managed to travel over to County Clare to visit the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren.

The Cliffs of Moher are a truly incredible sight (even on a miserable rainy day) reaching 214 metres (702ft) at their highest point, on a clear day you can see across to the Aran Islands in Galway Bay. The cliffs are home to thousands of birds (around 30,000 representing more than 20 species, according to my trust friend Wikipedia), including Atlantic Puffins, Hawks, Gulls and Guillemots. Some handy bits of trivia for you, the cliffs were used as filming locations for The Princess Bride and Harry Potter, as well as being where Dusty Springfield's ashes were scattered. See, you learn something new every day.

Through The Lens: A Sunny Sunday In Bangor

Hello Beautiful People!

I'm currently volunteering on a farm in Northern Ireland, and on this gorgeously sunny Sunday I thought I'd have a wander into Bangor to visit the Walled Gardens and take a stroll down the coastal road. I took a few snaps during the day, so thought I'd share those with you.
